Two Dalit youth leaders bag “Youth Peace Ambassador” Award

Tej Sunar, an activist affiliated with Dalit NGO Federation and Prakash Pariyar, a youth journalist have been recently given “Youth Peace Ambassador” Award. Both recipients from the Dalit community were among distinguished youth activists in Nepal who were given the Youth Federation Nepal’s award. Tej Sunar, who considers this award as the encouraging honor to the whole Dalit community, had also received Ambedkar Distinguished Service Award by All India Dalit Literary Academy last December. >>> More on this story
