Barack Obama becomes the first African-American elected as the 44th President of United States

Nepaldalitinfo Special Report

November 4- Barack Obama becomes the first African-American elected as the 44th President of United States. As we report this news, a historic extraordinary moment is unfolding to not just the United States, but to the whole world. The people of America have chosen a man of color in race to the highest position of the country, which was unthinkable not so long ago. Obama comes as a hope for positive “change” in the unprecedented history of United States, while he will be seen as the symbol of a possibility of “change” to what is still seemingly impossible to “change ” in the race (and caste) discriminating world, as he was saying in his acceptance speech, his election win has “sent a message to the world.”
